eeeek.. i’m so, so happy to be launching this website. i’ve finally reached a place in my career where i have the luxury of specializing in one niche area and boudoir it is. boudoir and i didn’t hit it off right out of the gate, it took several woman asking many times for me to photograph them, a few tried and failed set ups and an incredible amount of research before i really gathered my bearings for this art form. somewhere a long the way i fell in love with the way the process is. beginning to end and now it’s where i get most excited. encouraging woman to feel excited about what they look like, as they are, pampering them with hair and makeup by the finest artist i know and helping them feel their best with a camera pointing their direction is such a neat unfolding and i feel honored to be a part of that empowerment. as i begin to share these images with you i hope you’re inspired to begin thinking about participating in an experience like documenting you boudoir style and love who you are on the inside and on the outside. it’s a great feeling and so much fun
here to kick us off here are a few of my favs from an incredible wife, a creative photographer, a health conscious and tirelessly working momma for her three beautiful boys. she invests so much energy and love into the preparation of food for her kids. she is involved, the kids are so freakin’ cute and their family unit is adorable. i loved photographing her. post carrying three kiddos, two of which are twins, to sign up no questions asked for a boudoir session is brave and awesome! i have mom’s sign up regularly and i’m always so impressed / feel like SUCH a bum for not being in better shape. seriously, she was so confident lacking arrogance – just raw. she was so tenderly excited to give these images to her husband and comfortable enough to let me have carte blanche rights to all of her images. while i’m sure that there will be more images of her that run across this blog for you to see, these are just a few of my favorites. enjoy!
